Bali Baby Breeze wraps are reported by our customers to be the
lightest weight wrap carriers available. They are made from
bottomweight cotton gauze, heavier than the gauze used to make
broomstick skirts. The gauze is not "stretchy" but it has the diagonal
give that is necessary to make any wraparound carrier comfortable. Each
has a storage pocket sewn into the end that can either old the wrap
itself while not in use or can be used to store a wallet, car keys, or
other lightweight items while carrying baby.
Many customers find the Bali Baby Breeze wraps to be fabulous
beginner carriers because the fabric is lightweight and easy to
maneuver. People love them in hot weather. Because they are so light
and airy, they require more precise wrapping to achieve optimum
comfort. Some customers find that this helps them master the art of
wrapping more quickly, but other customers find it a drawback and prefer
a wrap that's a bit more forgiving of sloppy wrap jobs. Petite mamas
also sometimes prefer this wrap because it comes in sizes. Although the
Gypsy Mama has comfortably carried even very large children in this
wrap, if you are carrying for more than 30 minutes at a time you will
find it most useful until your child reaches about 35 pounds. With
children heavier than this, it can still be used to carry for periods
greater than 30 minutes but requires more frequent adjusting for optimum
comfort.
All of our Bali wraps now come packaged with an instructional DVD!
Our carefully chosen cotton gauze is a wonderful carrying choice:
it's huggable and comfortable, cool in the summer, and no bulk over or
under winter clothes. Each has a label marking the center of the wrap
and an innovative pocket at the end of the carrier that stores the wrap
in a tidy bundle when not in use. This wrap is wide enough to securely
carry even a tiny baby on your back, yet lightweight enough to wear on
hot days, compact enough to tuck in your bag, and comfortable enough to
carry your child for hours.
Each carrier is hand-dyed or hand-batiked under good working
conditions by artists in Indonesia. Each is packaged in a reusable
fabric bag.

SIZING
Wrap sizing can be a bit confusing - not only do you need to factor
in your size and shape, but you need to decide how much versatility you
want from your wrap. Some people like to order a few different sizes,
using them for different purposes. Some people prefer a shorter wrap,
with less fabric to play with, and they don't mind having fewer tying
options. Others like a one-size-does all carrier, ordering the wrap that
will offer them the most options and versatility.
The sizing chart below applies to woven wraps and will give you an
idea of what sizing will meet your needs. It is only an approximation
based on what I have learned after sizing many customers. Many like a
longer size even if they fall into a smaller size on the chart. This is
the sizing you will need to do the greatest variety of carries,
including nursing in the wrap cross carry. You can still do a full range
of carries, and our gauze is so light and airy that it is easy to wrap
around your waist and tuck into the waistband of your carrier.
